A new key milestone has just been reached for the vessel intended for the Port of La Rochelle.
As part of our quality approach, all welds have undergone rigorous inspections on each compartment:
✅ Dye penetrant testing successfully completed to detect any possible discontinuities,
✅ Air pressure testing currently underway to ensure perfect structural watertightness.
The initial results have been validated and confirm the quality of the work carried out by the Laïta Sailing teams 👏
These ongoing tests are bringing us progressively closer to full hull validation, with boilermaking finishing work now underway.
Next phases of the project: installation of the electric motor at Switch in Vannes and installation of its equipment in Baud by Philippe Sartore of Solutions Nautic.
