Armor-X takes part in a biofouling analysis project with France Énergies Marines!
We are proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to a fouling analysis project led by France Énergies Marines as part of the BIODHYL project. ⚙️
Thanks to this project, Armor-X was able to apply its technical analysis, industrial design and drawing skills.
Fouling, the accumulation of marine organisms on submerged surfaces, represents a significant challenge to the efficiency of marine infrastructures, and we are delighted to have been able to play a part in the study of this phenomenon. The aim of the BIODHYL project is to:
- better understand biofouling, the characteristics of the organisms that make it up, its evolution over time and the environmental variables that influence it,
- identify the most reliable and robust techniques and protocols for finely characterizing biofouling in an automatic way, in order to model its effects.
Many thanks to France Énergies Marines for the trust placed in our team. This rewarding experience has enabled us to strengthen our expertise and contribute, in our own way, to improving the durability and performance of marine structures.
